Well what can I say about this week! It started raining again! We had a little teaser this last Sunday, there was about a 30 minute down pour. But then after that there was nothing all week until yesterday!! Then it decided to pour, and all day! So we were out and about and at 3 pm exactly all of the sudden some black clouds were rolling in and we knew what we were in for. My shoes aren't exactly what they were 2 years ago. When I bought then they were waterproof but I think they lost that little advantage about 2 months in. Now they hardly have a sole. So needless to say my shoes are more like sponges now. The water comes right in through the bottom and is there to stay! haha But that is alright. I think that one day of wet feet won't do me any harm!
I also learned how to make tajadas this week. It is kind of easy, but also scary. It is hard to explain why but basically you have to slide your hand over a knife repeatedly so yeah that is why it is scary!

So it is Mothers Day tomorrow! I won't get to be there to be with my mom but I am so grateful for her and her wonderful love and care. She is so awesome and has always done so much for me! Even when I was a little rebel. But she is a wonderful example! I hope that all of the moms have a fantastic day tomorrow!! Love you all :)
